Follow Megan O'Hara's step-by-step guide to discover the potential of metal inclusions within your glass works.

A lifetime access course, you can watch as many times as you like, for as long as you like.

Welcome to the Glass School's Learn At Your Own Pace Education! Learn from the comfort of your own home or studio via our step-by-step videos. Here we are showing a course for Metal Inclusions.

In this Learn At Your Own Pace Course you will learn how metal inclusions are held between layers of glass during the glass fusing process. Megan will show you how metal can add design, reactions and texture to finished pieces of glass. You will be introduced to a library of samples where you can see the outcome and reaction before you make it yourself. We will explore how metal foils and found materials may be used as an inclusion for fused glass projects.

Once you have explored the individual metal behaviours you will be able to put this knowledge into bigger projects with a selection of three to choose from: Multi-Metal Layered Bowl, Copper Oxide Project, and Silver Dishes.
